Okapari Kokapari, Kuchipudi dance performed to Sri Annammacharya’s composition in Kharaharapriya raga, Adi Talam. This Kuchipudi dance piece, choreographed by the dancers Shwetha Subraya, Bhavana Channavajjala and Sahiti Rachakonda, depicts Annamayya’s imagination as he composes the kriti on Lord Venkateswara and Goddess Alamelumanga. This Indian classical dance ballet features traditional Kuchipudi Jathis and Nritya while using Kuchipudi’s unique element Pathra Pravesha to introduce the composer Annamacharya, goddess Alamelumanga and Lord Venkateshwara. The dance describes the beauty of the Lord and Goddess as a couple, the beauty they bring to their surroundings and enacts also Annamacharya’s imaginings of Alamelumanga playing with her friends.

The music for this dance was created by IndianRaga Fellows: S. Manikandan, Venkatesh Viswanathan (Vocals), Poornima Krishna Emani (Flute), Niveditha Arun (Veena), Saigovind Vijayaraghavan (Mandolin), Aditya Vinodh (Violin) and Sarvesh Karthick (Percussion and Konnakkol).
